DIABETES

Diabetes is a disease that occurs when blood glucose, also called blood sugar ,is too high .

In the United State, the estimate number of people over 18 years of age with diagnosed and undiagnosed diabetes is 30.2 million.

Types of Diabetes

There are three diabetes which are listed below –

Type 1- It is also known as JUVENILE DIABETES , this type occurs when body fails to produce insulin . People with Type 1 diabetes are insulin dependent, which means they must take artificial insulin daily to stay alive .

Type 2- It affects the way the body uses insulin , in this body do not respond to it’s effectively as they once did . It has strong link with obesity .

Gestational diabetes – It occurs in women during pregnancy when the body can become less sensitive to insulin . It doesn’t occur in all women and usually resolves after giving birth

Symptoms

* Hunger and fatigue

* Peing more often and being thirstier

* Blurred vision

* Dry mouth and itchy skin
